So recently I've been doing some test shoots for the last project on my degree. I'm photographing objects that people have irrational fears or phobias of. Some are universally known, some are ones I have come across, some of them are common, and some very unusual.

So far I'm just working out the best way to shoot them, so here are my latest test shots!

New Project Underway!

It's been a while! I've been working with 3 Objectives Photography recently (check them out on facebook or google them) and have now enrolled onto the last module of my BA Degree!

I'm going to be shooting still life images of things that people have phobias/irrational fears of. For example....sponges, cotton wool, toe socks, muffins, boxes...yes these are all genuine! Do you or someone you know have an unusual phobia? If so please feel free to get in touch!

This rubber band has been staring at me for a week, begging to be photographed. Finally had a chance to have a go with it. What do you think?

The Wall

When I was doing my HND I took some shots of this old chapel that had been beaten down over the years, yet it lent itself to some great pictures. I did a couple of days of exploratory test shooting of the location, and then when I finally went in for the shots with the RB67, I turn up to be denied entry because arsonists had 'burnt the chapel to the ground'.

However, they hadn't burnt it to the ground. I went back a week later and got some shots. Unfortunately the location no longer exists.
